After heavy rain on Friday, a collapsed lane on Falcon Crest Drive stranded about 50 residents, but crews plan to restore limited access by 3 p.m. Sunday as they rebuild the road with a new culvert (using storm drains and a rebuilt roadbed).

The renovated northern section of Longwood Park reopened recently with a new Dogwood Pavilion, restroom, kitchen, playground, relocated kayak shack, repaired pedestrian bridge and ADA parking (total project cost nearly $3.5 million). Additional lighting will be added over the coming years.
