- ➤ Vendor applications for the 2026 Food Truck Friday season are open at Lake Lanier Olympic Park. The monthly event, featuring live music & food trucks, runs from April to August from 5 to 9 p.m., and vendors must apply by Feb. 15. AccessWDUN
- ➤ NGCF announced a legacy gift of millions from a local couple that left endowments for 12 nonprofits and churches in Gainesville and Highlands; recipients such as Brenau University’s nursing program will receive 5% of the fund each year, fulfilling Anne Thomas’ community-minded vision. - ➤ Workout Anytime opened its newest Gainesville gym on Dec. 26 at 3320 Thompson Bridge Rd. The 24/7 facility features standard equipment plus amenities like a tanning bed, red light therapy, and massage chairs, with plans to add a sauna and dry plunge in late January. AccessWDUN

EDUCATION NEWS
