- ➤ Hall County School District announced yesterday that Joey Millwood will retire at the end of the 2025–2026 school year after a 30-year career in roles from paraprofessional to director — officials praised his dedication to students and service within the district. AccessWDUN
- ➤ In Gainesville, Brenau University was ranked second among Georgia schools and 21st nationwide for women by Newsweek’s survey, which used federally reported data to assess leadership (35%), pay and policies (25%), safety (20%), and opportunity (20%). AccessWDUN

- ➤ GPA is hiring for its new inland port in Gainesville, with openings like Operations Administrative Coordinator and Electronic Mechanical Technician through its website.
