- ➤ The National Weather Service says snow will affect Northeast Georgia from Friday night to Saturday night while extreme cold will follow. The forecast rates eastern counties such as Hall with a 60 to 70 percent chance of impacts as cleanup from last weekend’s storm continues. AccessWDUN

- ➤ Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper halted the sale of kerosene at the Chevron on Price Road after a routine inspection found gasoline contamination that may cause explosions in heaters and lamps. The store is offering refunds to anyone who purchased the product. WSB-TV

- ➤ Candler plans an 18,000 sqft, restaurant-anchored shopping center on McEver Road (across from Branch House Tavern). - ➤ Flowery Branch high school standout Griffin Harper committed to a Division-II football program after a standout season as a running back and linebacker for the Falcons.
