- ➤ The Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner announced Allstate is reducing private passenger auto insurance rates by 5%, projected to save Georgians $17.7 million. The change affects tens of thousands statewide. WSB-TV
- ➤ City officials are addressing complaints about smelly, bad-tasting water from Lake Lanier & plan to test new treatment methods soon to improve quality. The move is expected to bring better taste to local taps as experts work on the issue. WSB-TV
- ➤ The Georgia State House passed House Bill 383 (the Georgia High School NIL Protection Act) by a 171-0 vote on Wednesday to automatically expire NIL contracts at graduation and protect high school athletes.
