  • Ty Kemp hit an inside-the-park grand slam as North Hall beat Lovett today in a baseball game, clinching the win that thrilled local fans.  The Gainesville Times
  • East Hall's Lady Vikings won their region tournament on Monday with a strong performance by Maliyah Butler against Monroe Area, and the team's defense shined throughout the game.  The Gainesville Times
  • Gainesville's KJ White was named Co-Player of the Year for the All-Region 7-5A high school basketball league, recognizing his strong play and teamwork + dedication throughout the season.  The Gainesville Times
  • North Hall senior Gunner Spain (6-foot-4) broke his own school record during a standout week for the Trojans, showing his skill in past key games at school. His scoring ran at unprecedented rates as he helped the team secure important wins.  The Gainesville Times
  • On Feb. 7, local coaches Anna Claire Atha, head of North Hall girls basketball, and Lee Coleman, head of Lakeview Academy football, got engaged in downtown Gainesville. Their relationship grew strong through faith, family + his bond with his three-year-old son, Randy Lee.  The Gainesville Times
  • East Hall’s Langston and Bluff’s Carlson were named top players in 8-3A high school basketball after strong early results. The region tournament will take place this week (teams are set to compete) and add a key milestone to the season.  The Gainesville Times
  • Four Hall high school basketball players received All-Region honors in 6-3A this week. Chestatee’s Ali Jae Bull (15) and his teammates earned the award as they prepare for the upcoming region tournament at West Hall High.  The Gainesville Times
