  • Gas prices in Gainesville dropped to $2.67 today from last week's price while the state average fell to $2.69, even as the national average rose to $2.94. AAA expects prices to start rising soon due to seasonal blending and global tensions.  97.5 Glory

EDUCATION NEWS

  • A new study finds that Brenau University offers one of Georgia's top MBA programs with a 1.5-year online course focused on Business Analytics. The program provides small classes and flexible learning with no entrance exam for working professionals in Gainesville.  97.5 Glory

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • The Gainesville Housing Authority plans to develop a master-planned community near Northeast Georgia Medical Center at Myrtle St intersections with Osborne and Wall St that will offer 65 senior units (for ages 55+) and 64 multi-family units with community space, parking and greenspace if approved by the council.  WSB-TV
