- ➤ Green’s Grocery on Ronnie Green Parkway in north Gainesville marks 75 years of service after opening in 1950 by Frank and Lilly Mae Green; current owner Ed Waller said the beloved store has remained a trusted local hub since the family transition in 1995. 97.5 Glory
- ➤ Funeral services have been scheduled for beloved North Hall High teacher Jason Ryan Hughes — a mentor and former golf coach — who died over the weekend in a prank gone wrong. The Gainesville Times
