EDUCATION NEWS

  • Hall County Schools Superintendent Will Schofield will recommend Dr. Christy Hastings as the new principal of East Hall Middle School on Monday at the school board meeting. Hastings, who has 24 years experience, will replace Dr. Jamie Hitzges (leaving for another district) at the end of the school year.  97.5 Glory
  • Christy Hastings was tapped as the next principal of East Hall Middle School (announced by Hall County Schools) and will begin her new role soon.  The Gainesville Times

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Three two-story duplexes are proposed near Northeast Georgia Medical Center to offer rental housing for NGHS staff + local residents; the plan will support housing needs as Gainesville moves toward practical development.  The Gainesville Times
