- ➤ On March 12th, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Tony William Berry from Gainesville at the Hall County Courthouse and took 26-year-old Jacob Kyl Panzer into custody at the Hall County Jail, while 36-year-old Jacob Karl Wilkerson from Buford—wanted from a Sept. 4th, 2024 incident—was booked into the same jail. 97.5 Glory
- ➤ Carlos Lopez, a Gainesville man accused of being part of a family-run theft ring (operating in South Hall over four years), pleaded guilty to lesser charges Tuesday, March 11 at Hall County Superior Court. The Gainesville Times
- ➤ A Gainesville man, Kevin Armando Torres-Ortiz, 24, was arrested on first-degree burglary and unlawful eavesdropping charges after he entered an acquaintance's home through a window early Thursday morning on Barnes Drive—he is now held without bond at Hall County Jail. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ The Sardis Road Connector is set to open to traffic sooner than the official 2028 finish date. Early construction work began on March 3, 2025 (barrels were placed along Sardis Road) as officials push to speed up the process. The Gainesville Times
