- ➤ Mutts on Main returns to Downtown Square on Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature dog adoptions from Hall County Animal Shelter, disc dog shows, pet meet and greets, a pet fashion show with a $5 entry fee (all proceeds supporting the shelter), and giveaways for early arrivals. - ➤ Five Odyssey of the Mind teams from Gainesville City Elementary Schools will compete in the state finals in Columbus on March 21 after advancing in the regional round (winners will later represent Georgia at the World Finals). AccessWDUN

- ➤ Residents have put up “No Hotel on Ivy” signs along Ivy Road as officials will review Capstone Properties’ proposal for a luxury hotel and residential units near Lake Lanier on Tuesday (the project was conditionally approved by the Planning and Appeals Board earlier this year). 97.5 Glory
