- ➤ Two individuals—a 32-year-old man with a $3,900 bond and a 33-year-old woman with a $4,810 bond and traffic charges—were arrested Saturday around noon on theft-by-taking charges in the 3100 block of Old Cornelia Highway and remain in Hall County Jail as of Sunday morning. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Gas prices held steady nationally at $3.07—Gainesville prices fell from $2.93 to $2.90 and the state average dropped to $2.89 last week. AAA warns drivers may be surprised to see gas under $3—especially with many planning spring break trips. 97.5 Glory
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ An overnight storm left several power outages in Northeast Georgia as local utilities reported outages affecting thousands of customers on March 16th. Georgia Power reported 2,039 customers without power in Hall County and 843 in Jackson County while Habersham EMC reported 356 outages—additional outages occurred in Rabun, White and Lumpkin counties—and crews are working to restore power.
