- ➤ On Saturday around noon, a wreck on Browns Bridge Road closed part of Florence Drive while on Friday a manhunt on Hog Mountain Road led to the capture of three theft suspects, a 59-year-old woman was charged with hindering criminal capture Friday night and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for a hit-and-run Saturday night near the 5700 block, with more details expected Monday morning. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Gas prices in Gainesville increased three cents to $2.94 over the past week while the state average rose to the same price and the national average increased four cents to $3.12. AAA explained that higher pump prices are expected as refineries switch to summer-blend gasoline (a more expensive fuel) designed to reduce evaporation in warm weather. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Gainesville officials announced that Smallwood Road will be closed Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., affecting about 100 water service customers.
