- ➤ United Way of Hall County will kick off its 2025 campaign on Tuesday, April 22 at the Gainesville Civic Center from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Jessica Dudley said the event will give community members a chance to discuss local issues and plan for change. AccessWDUN

- ➤ A Sugar Hill man, Trevaughn Wilson (24), was seriously injured on Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on GA 11 about half-a-mile west of W.J. Dills Road when his SUV swerved to avoid stopped traffic, clipped another vehicle, and rolled over through westbound lanes, leading to his transport to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville. 97.5 Glory
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday at 10:00 a.m. on Georgia 211 near the Barrow County line for 24 fraud and theft charges — he was held Saturday morning in Hall County Jail on bonds totaling $239,000. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Avenues of Life Coaching and Counseling launched a nonprofit called Live A Balanced Life, Inc.—designed to expand access to affordable coaching, counseling and mental wellness resources for at-risk communities in Gainesville.
