- ➤ The state labor department said first-time unemployment claims in Hall County dropped by 54.5% in February compared to January — though they were 47.5% higher than in February last year. Claims statewide fell 40.3% over the month and rose 19.1% over the year. 97.5 Glory
- ➤ Gas prices in Hall County dropped to $3.59 per gallon today after an eleven-cent decline over the past week; statewide, prices fell to $3.61 while the national average stands at $4.04 (AAA said the drop follows a two-week ceasefire that lowered crude below $100). 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton has been officially designated as a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by the Georgia Department of Public Health based on American Academy of Pediatrics standards & neonatal care practices.
