- ➤ Gainesville police said a driver hit a woman pushing a man in a wheelchair on Academy Street around 11 a.m. Monday, killing Phillips Adams and hospitalizing Linda Tench—authorities arrested suspect Janet Villanueva, who now faces homicide and hit-and-run charges. WSB-TV
- ➤ On April 22nd at 11 a.m. on Academy Street, a hit-and-run in Gainesville left a 61-year-old man in a wheelchair dead and a 77-year-old woman critically injured after 29-year-old Janet Villanueva fled the scene—she now faces charges including homicide by vehicle in the first degree.
