- ➤ The Hall County Board of Education decided Monday night to move the school nutrition department from the Central Office to the Riverbend Elementary site so its cafeteria will support a food science pathway—teaching students about local food processing using farm resources. - ➤ On Tuesday, GDOT Commissioner Russell McMurry told local business leaders that the state is investing millions in transportation projects in our area and northeast Hall County, including the Blue Ridge Connector set to open in 2026.
