Superintendent Will Schofield announced he will recommend West Hall High School principal Dr. Ley Hathcock as the new leader of the district’s Virtual Program of Choice when he presents the proposal to the board Monday, May 11.

Dr. Hathcock will transition after eight years at West Hall.

Governor Brian Kemp signed bills Tuesday — placing a literacy coach in every elementary school and banning high school students from bringing cellphones and other electronic devices into class.
