- ➤ A teenage murder suspect known as Kyland Rochod Williams, 18, was arrested Wednesday morning at about 9:30 during a drug investigation—Gainesville Police had been searching for him since April in connection with a teen murder. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Hall County reached a six-figure settlement with a former employee who alleged she was retaliated against after joining an investigation into her former boss — Hall County Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard. The Gainesville Times
- ➤ GDOT has awarded a $2.7 million contract to build a roundabout at the intersection of GA Highway 124, county road 47 and Old Hog Mountain Road in Barrow County—just a few miles from the Hall and Gwinnett lines. A traffic study from August 2017 identified key safety concerns, and the project is scheduled for completion on March 31st, 2027. 97.5 Glory
