Good morning, Gainesville.

Community members plan a block party (July 17, 4:00-7:00) at The Spa on Green Street to enjoy music and food while standing against GDOT’s plans to remove historic trees from the boulevard.

Gainesville’s Boys & Girls Club benefits from a partnership with AWCHC, Soccer in the Streets and state Boys & Girls Clubs to bring soccer clinics, mentorship, and equipment donations to local youth.

The program makes quality soccer and mentorship accessible across the community.

City Manager Jerry Neace said that Lula's water issues, from low water pressure and drought conditions, remain unchanged as the boil water advisory continues.

The city is working with Gainesville and the Georgia Rural Water Association to find both short- and long-term solutions — urging residents to conserve water and follow the watering ban.
