  • On July 10, Spectrum awarded Gainesville Housing Corporation a $25,000 grant to expand digital literacy programs and online skills training in the community — part of its Digital Education initiative — which aims to improve technology access for education and employment. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Hall County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution on Thursday night to place a referendum for a 1% sales tax called SPLOST IX on the November 4 ballot—this proposed program will fund county roads, public safety, and other projects for six years. The Board of Elections will formally call the referendum at its July 15 meeting.  97.5 Glory
