- ➤ Gainesville City Schools announced Tuesday that it plans to adopt a rollback millage rate of 6.092 mills for FY2026 and will hold two public hearings for community input. One hearing is scheduled on Monday, Aug. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at 508 Oak Street & the other on Monday, Aug. 18 at 5:00 p.m. with a budget adoption meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Gainesville Public Safety Complex.
