GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Hall County Planning Commission voted Monday to delay the decision on a South Hall data center proposal—plans for a 1.2-billion-dollar facility on a 119-acre site at 2400 O’Kelly Road near Candler Road will be discussed at its Oct.6 meeting. 97.5 Glory
- ➤ Hall County voters will decide in November if they renew a 1% sales tax that has supported local projects for 40 years. The funds may go to major improvements — such as a new courthouse shown in a recent rendering — that can upgrade county services. The Gainesville Times
