- ➤ Some amenities at East Hall, Mulberry Creek, and North Hall centers will be unavailable starting Monday, Sept. 22 due to scheduled repairs and facility upgrades—walking tracks, gyms, and fitness rooms will reopen on staggered dates through early October with updates available on the county website and social media. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ A $1.2 billion data center with its own power substation has been proposed on Candler Road in southeast Hall County — the project faces resident opposition over water issues and has prompted questions from officials. The Gainesville Times

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Hall County Government announced that starting next week, scheduled maintenance will temporarily close amenities at East Hall, Mulberry Creek and North Hall community centers to upgrade safety and services—East Hall’s walking track will be closed Sept 22 through Sept 28, its gym from Oct 1 through Oct 5, Mulberry Creek’s gym from Sept 29 through Oct 3, and North Hall’s gym from Sept 30 through Oct 4. - ➤ Hall County tax commissioner Darla Eden said property tax bills, normally mailed on September 15, will be delayed until mid-November due to changes required by Georgia House Bill 581—taxpayers will still have 60 days from the delayed mailing to pay. AccessWDUN
