- ➤ Gainesville is clearing a homeless encampment on a community soccer field for sewer improvements and creek cleanup. North Georgia Works will help by renovating a nearby building to offer housing as they work with residents—many of whom are employed but still cannot afford a home. WSB-TV

- ➤ Downtown Gainesville now has Archie's Cocktail Bar offering a calm spot away from busy nightlife.
