- ➤ In Gainesville, this week’s average price for a gallon of gas is $2.78, down from $2.83 a week ago—driven by falling crude oil prices and lower demand. The statewide average also declined to $2.81 from $2.87 over the same period. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ Four Gainesville residents—Phil Bonelli, Adriana Collins, Arthur McPhaul and Mark Pettitt—were chosen for Leadership Georgia Class of 2026, a program that selects 63 emerging leaders from hundreds of applicants to shape the state's future. Jaemy Quito-Cruz was named Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier's 2025 Youth of the Year at a Gainesville celebration and will now compete for regional, state and national honors. 97.5 Glory

- ➤ County commissioners will discuss a proposed data center in South Hall on Thursday as community groups express concerns about the project.
