Georgia’s 2025 College+Career Ready Performance Index shows that Gainesville and Hall County schools improved in Content Mastery, Readiness and high school graduation rates.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reopened eight federal parks on Lake Lanier – which had closed due to the government shutdown – as the shutdown ended.
