- ➤ UNG Gainesville Campus received a $10,000 grant from the USPOULTRY Foundation to boost student recruitment and outreach events, including Poultry 101, while funding marketing efforts and travel for selected candidates. - ➤ Eight facilities on Lake Lanier, including parks and campgrounds, will close Dec. 15-19 for the annual Buford Dam Hunt (an archery-only conservation event) to reduce deer numbers and lower deer/vehicle collisions, according to the Corps of Engineers. 97.5 Glory
