- ➤ A new 104-acre inland port near Ga. 365 in northeast Hall County will open in the future and employ about 20 people, plus it will be served by rail from the Port of Savannah. The Gainesville Times

- ➤ Georgia's Department of Education released its official list of Targeted Support & Improvement schools for 2025 (including Fair Street International Academy in Gainesville and Lanier College and Career Academy in Hall County).
