Three two-story duplexes are proposed near Northeast Georgia Medical Center to offer rental housing for NGHS staff + local residents; the plan will support housing needs as Gainesville moves toward practical development.

Gainesville high school football has set an ambitious 2026 schedule with games planned against Buford and Illinois powerhouse East St. Louis; the team prepares for a competitive season.
