- ➤ A Gainesville-based medical transport business now faces higher operating costs because of a recent gas price spike and said it may raise fares if fuel prices stay high. WSB-TV

- ➤ Gasoline prices in Gainesville rose after the statewide average topped $4 per gallon on Wednesday, May 6. The increase came after a 33-cent jump from last week, while the gas tax suspension stays in effect until May 19. AccessWDUN
