EDUCATION NEWS

  • Lakeview Academy unveiled its new Beverly Fine Arts Center on Monday ahead of classes, building a 10,000-square-foot facility for K-12 fine arts programs — the $7 million center was funded through its Imagine Campaign. Head of School John Simpson said the school is renovating a former fine arts space into a state-of-the-art robotics center to open by October 1.  AccessWDUN
  • Hall County Schools adopted a new exam exemption policy that allows high schoolers to skip final exams to boost attendance. The change was approved on (Feb. 26) and is expected to increase student participation.  The Gainesville Times
